Description

WWII Japanese military issue leather map case. This measures 12 inches long by 9 1/2 inches wide. Has sewn army star on the front. Map case has good stitching, but left side flap ear is missing a bout an inch of stitching as shown. That's an easy fix with needle and thread. Map case is named on the inside rear flap. I don't have a translation for it. Canvas shoulder strap is in good shape. Metal buckle, and snap hooks show some rust from being 75 plus years old. Map case has side pencil holders on each side of it. A good map case for your IJA collection!
