WW II Imperial Japanese Army Aircraft - PITOT TUBE - Ki21 Ki48 Ki67 Ki49 - RARE!

Description

You are bidding on a VERY RARE example of an WW2 Imperial Japanese Army Aircraft Pitot Tube!  This was used on many of the early bomber and transport aircraft

This instrument was located on the upper or lower surface of the fuselage and measured the true airspeed, sending a signal to the main instrument panel.
The Speedometer then indicated to the pilot the current velocity.
Made of brass and aluminum, this piece is in EXCELLENT relic condition and is very solid.  Has some obvious damage as it came from a wreck, and features an early Japanese Army Data Plate, with a 1935 date.  These were normally mounted in a lare extension arm that was located on top of the wing.
I have never seen another one of its type.  Would make a FANTASTIC addition to any aircraft collection, or simply as a conversation piece!
