  • Condition: I have not laundered or ironed this quilt. Overall clean bright condition. There is a light brown stain on one yellow square close to one end (7th picture). There are a few unraveled / split seams that need repair here and there (the last four pictures show examples of seam tears / unraveling). It's possible I overlooked some other seam tears. No pilling.

    Description

    Vtg Homemade Finished 67 x 45" Patchwork Block Quilt Throw Cover w embroidery
    Here is a vintage finished quilt lap or throw / cover that was machine stitched from a variety of cotton or cotton blend fabrics. I do not know the age. No batting layer.
    I measure this quilt to be approx. 67 1/2" long x 45" wide. It weighs about 1 lb 12 oz.
    There are 10 x 6 rows of square blocks for a total of 60 blocks in 10 different floral fabrics. The squares are approx. 5 1/4" - 5 1/2" square. The floral prints are shades of yellow, orange and brown. There are 2 different border fabrics: 1 1/2" wide brown & black plaid border and a 5" wide brown & yellow flannel checkered outer border. The backing is a white-on-white textured floral fabric.
    There is simple embroidery of little stars or asterisks that vary from a 1/2" long row to a 2" long row. These are embroidered over 30 times randomly along the border and squares.
    I have not laundered or ironed this quilt. Overall clean bright condition. There is a light brown stain on one yellow square close to one end (7th picture). No pilling. No musty or smoke odor.
