  • Condition: These 8" squares are hand stitched and have some machine stitching. They were made to turn into a quilt, but were never put together to do the quilt. After decades of storage, some edges were age darkened, or a little yellow. They have been gently laundered, so only a few edges have slight yellowing. Different types of green and white fabric were used to cut out the pieces, so the shades are slightly different on some squares. And the squares need to be ironed and the ravels clipped! Extremely original Farm Quilt. No other damage found.     Great original Farm Quilt in the Flower Basket pattern. You will need to arrange and sew these pieces to form a quilt. 35 pieces of hand and machine stitched, pieced quilt squares. (Note-not all the pieces are laid out in the photos, I did not have enough room. Small stack on the side in the photos) Approx. 8" x 8" each, although some are 8"x8.5" or so. This will turn into an heirloom quilt -complete with hand stitching and a vintage quilt pattern/design. Buyer will need to combine the squares and finish the quilt from this point.
