    Description

    Vintage Hand Stitched Handsewn Folk Art Quilt Route 66.
    57 1/2" long x 47 5/8" wide
    Solid Brown fabric on back
    Black fabric border front
    Multi colors of brown tan red green blue red black make up the design
    Completely hand stitched with surge stitching around the borders of each applique.  Beautifully hand sewn.
    There is a small hole on top center black border (see pic). It is only on the front, does not go through the back.
    Hand stitched panel added to the upper back for hanging on a wall.
    Scene depicts the crafter's vision of the Route 66 highway with a large Route 66 road sign in bottom right corner, cactus, cows/bulls, teepee, trees, diner, red convertible with a man & woman on a winding road,No-Tell Motel sign and a curio shop with large dinosaur.
