    Description

    Unique Vintage Floral Hand Applique FINISHED QUILT Lovely Dogwood & Cherry Blossoms. Measures 86” x 83” believed to be from the ‘40s or ‘50s.
    Pretty colors of pink and white dogwood blossoms and pink cherry blossoms with green leaves and sky blue lattice work. The binding is the same blue.
    Hand laundered with special quilt soap by me - only one small stain remained as shown near edge in photo 9 and there is a slight fraying at the binding (see photo 10), which would be easy to repair. The quilting is nice with a light batting, and all stitching including the binding is hand done.. This delightful quilt was purchased during the Dogwood Festival in the 1990s in Knoxville, TN; it may be from a kit but locally made. A very nice tribute to the beauty of spring.
