Homemade Quilt 61" x 70" Merry Christmas

Description

This quilt is made from cotton and is washable and dryable. As is cotton, cold wash and low tumble would be best. Non-smoking home.
The fabric is a delicious collection of Christmas themed fabrics from Missouri Star Quilting Company called Merry Christmas.   It has beautiful shades of reds, greens and white.
So much prettier than photos can capture.
Batting is Pellon 80/20. This means
80% cotton and 20% polyester.  Due to the polyester content, this type of batting is
slightly warmer than 100% cotton batting
. The touch of polyester also reduces wrinkles in the finished quilt.
The border and backing  is wonderful Christmas red..
The pattern is called Double sliced layer cake by MSQC  and was finished with free motion quilting using Glide soft golden thread.
It measures 61" x 70".
This beautiful quilt will be wonderful around the Christmas holiday and can be used year after year after year.
