    Vintage handmade "The Faceless Quilter" Cloth Rag Doll
    Inspired by the book "The Faceless Quilter" by Donna Farr (c) 1985
    Beautiful M. Lowenstein Fabric used for dress
    The book that inspired this doll was written in 1985 and came with a doll pattern and instructions.
    A copy of that book with the pattern & Instructions is included in this sale!
    This Faceless Quilter Cloth Rag Doll came with a Quilters Hoop and Poem
    The creator and writer of both is unknown to me.

    Yarn Hair Put into a Messy Bun in the back
    Fancy, detailed, shawl
    Shawl has Vintage Closure Button – Very Beautiful and Unique
    The Pin’s Hold/Release Buttons Works Perfectly
    Dress closes in back with two snaps
    Dress made from M. Lowenstein Corp material
    (Maker cleverly used the material tag as a dress tag!)
    Lace Neckline
    Detailed Bodice
    Pleated and Fits Very Well
    Bottom has layers and lace
    Jointed Arms – Plastic Ring Type Joints
    Body has no hands and no feet
    Bloomers are also very detailed
    They fit a bit loose
    Bottom edge has layers and lace
    Socks fit perfect on her feet-less legs
    Shoes are size 0 – White, Man-Made Material, Excellent Condition
    She was found with a Quilter’s Hoop with an “in-progress” quilt
    A Poem was Pinned to the Back of the Quilt
    This was typed using an old typewriter
    There are two “white-out” corrections
    The Poem is titled “The Faceless Quilter”
    The quality and attention to detail are incredible!
    This doll is an absolute treasure!
