    Description

    Up for auction is this  vintage "Triple Irish Chain"  quilt  measuring 46 1/2 X 59 1/2-inches, which I have made many years ago.
    - The quilt top consists of 475 2-inch squares of red calico, 2 different tan and 2 different navy blue calico prints.
    - The "Triple Irish Chain" patterned quilt top  is bordered with a 1 1/2-inch border of red calico, and another  4-inch border of a navy blue calico print
    -The quilt top is made of 100% cotton fabric, as  the matching navy blue calico binding, which is attached by machine and bound by hand;
    - Batting - 100% polyester.
    - Backing - 100% natural cotton muslin.
    - Quilt is machine stitched and all three layers  "tied" with matching floss.
    This quilt  is new - without tags - unwashed and comes from a smoke free home.
