HANDMADE AWARD-WINNING WALL QUILT

Description

"Bonsai" wall quilt is handmade, hand appliqued, and hand quilted.
Each Bonsai tree was constructed with dimensional applique techniques and fabric origami.
Sashiko hand quilted.
It measures 36.25" by 46.25"
"Bonsai" won 1st place for applique wall quilts at the 2004 Kansas State Fair.
It won 2nd place for art quilts at "By
the
Sea" 2019 quilt show of the Bayberry Quilt Guild of Cape Cod.
"Bonsai" appeared at the 41st annual quilt show of the National Quilting Association, Inc. in the exhibit entitled "Trees." 2010
Two different hanging methods/sleeves are attached to the back side.
I am selling some of my quilting endeavors as I am aging and have no one to whom I can leave them.
It hangs on the wall in our home away from natural sunlight.
It comes from a
non-smoking
home.
