Kuwesa quilts are made of African fabrics in the form known as the CRAZY QUILT!
Crazy Quilts consist of two layers, unlike most quilts which consist of three. Each piece is hand embroidered to each adjacent piece and to the backing.
The top of the quilt features an extensive patchwork, patterns forming at times amidst the chaos of fabrics rich with color and beauty, framed by a one-inch border that matches the underside.
No two are exactly alike, this quilt is unique!

* * * QUILT WASHING INSTRUCTIONS * * *
Kuwesa quilts can be washed by hand or in a front loading washing machine on gentle cycle with cold water and 1/4 cup of lemon juice or vinegar to set the colors. Top loading washing machines have agitators which will tear apart the hand embroidery!
RETURN POLICY:
If the package arrives showing significant mistreatment, PLEASE photograph pre-opening, providing evidence of postal negligence. If USPS damages your shipment, please send photos of the effected items. Follow-up pictures aren't as effective in reporting negligence, but can still help. Returns/refunds gladly/ONLY accepted in cases of errors in listing condition, or if USPS negligence is clear and follow-up is possible. Thank you!!!
