Child s Applique Strip Quilt W/Animals Ca 1961 * 81 x 61

Description

Child's appliqued strip quilt with animals in vertical rows in polychrome cotton prints.  Animals include cows, dogs, pigs, turtles, deer, bear, butterfly, chickens, elephants, birds, hippopotamus, goat squirrel, cat, dinosaurs and peacocks.  Red sashing separates rows of animals and red border.  Dated 1961, made in America, and is 81" x 61".  It has some discoloration and a few stains.
