Box Timken 2 1/4" drill bits vintage gold mining rock ore drilling

30 piece lot. These came out of The Argonaut mine in Jackson California. I live in the heart of the motherlode in California and often find gold mining related items. I don't know how old they are but my guess would be 1940's or before.. I bought these at an estate sale literally half a mile from the mine. One of the family members from the estate sale worked in the mine back in the day... 2 and 1/4 inch drill bits were used for   drilling holes to put the dynamite sticks in
