    Description

    You are bidding on a completed handcrafted  rag quilt throw. The size is 32"wide X 47"length.
    There are 24 blocks in this quilt.
    I have used cotton batting in the middle, flannel on the back for added warmth. I have sewn and "X" on each block so when they are washed the batting won't shift.
    This quilt has pictures of the Alaskan wildlife and is very colorful and realistic. The material used in the landscape scenes was created by a local artist and then printed on a high quality cotton material. The animal material is also a high quality cotton material. I purchased them from a quilt shop in Skaggway and Sitka Alaska. The back is a blue tie-dyed flannel.
    I make all my rag quilts with cotton batting in the middle (not flannel) for added warmth and each seam (bloom) is hand snipped (not machine cut). This is a very labor involved process, but if I am going to do them I want good quality.
