    Star Trek
    television series which debuted in 1966 and ran three seasons to 1969. The series tells of the adventures of Captain James Tiberius Kirk of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 directed by Earth-based Starfleet Command "to explore new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before." This Aurum Gold Note measures 7 inches by 3 inches and comes in a hard plastic protective case that is slightly larger. As with all Aurum notes the colors are vibrant, and the front features all the major characters who appeared in the show. The Aurum process itself is quite a scientific adventure where a thin film deposition method is used to lay down gold in precisely measured amounts, a process derived from the semi-conductor manufacturers.
